HAMPTON – A Hampton man charged with a sex crime has pleaded guilty to a lesser charge and received probation.
Israel Larue, age 21, was charged by Hampton police with felony C third degree sexual abuse after an alleged incident on April 19 in Hampton involving a victim under the age of 16.
Larue pled guilty in August to a charge of enticing a minor under the age of 16 years old for sexual purposes. He was given a 5 year suspended prison sentence, a suspended $750 fine and 5 years of probation by judge James Drew. He was ordered to pay $750.35 in court fees.
