CHARLES CITY – An outdoor prayer session was held Saturday in Charles City, asking for peace all over the world.
About 20 members of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church attended the event and a rosary was recited, with the goal of spreading the Fatima message.
Today at noon, Catholic congregations across the nation participated and held rosaries of their own. This is the second year the event has been held in Charles City.
“The only way that we will ever have peace on earth is when everybody will join in and pray for it,” one Charles City resident and congregation member told NIT.
