CHARLES CITY – A Greene woman was fined after a Charles City traffic stop.
Charles City police conducted a traffic stop on September 5 at about 12:53 PM on South Main Street and 4th Street. During the traffic stop, police discovered that the driver, 26-year-old Crystal Wordes was driving with a suspended license and no proof of insurance.
Wordes was fined $347.50 after pleading guilty the next day to driving without a license.
On September 22, Judge Colleen Weiland approved a protective order (petition for relief from domestic abuse) that Wordes applied for, against Curtis Wordes.
