MASON CITY – A man previously caught driving drunk three times was brought to jail again, this time for driving illegally.

Brandon Ward, age 30 of Mason City, was spotted by a Mason City police officer driving a car. Ward is known to have a suspended license. The officer stopped the vehicle and placed Ward under arrest for driving while barred.

Ward was jailed, booked and released pending an October 1, 2014 hearing.

Ward lost his license in 2011 after he was caught for the third time driving drunk. He still owes Iowa courts the entire $3,709.38 he was ordered to pay in that case.
