CHARLES CITY – Police went to the same address twice in the same day to make separate arrests of a man and woman for harassment.
On September 3, police first went to a home at the 300 block of 7th Avenue at 4:31 PM to arrest 52-year-old Jerald D. Watkins. Later, at 5:55 PM, police went back to the same location and arrested 39-year-old Mary Nelson. Both were charged with aggravated misdemeanor second degree harassment.
Both subjects were soon released from jail pending court dates.
