Mangun has been arrested numerous times in recent months, most recently on August 10 for domestic abuse assault and trespassing with damages exceeding $200. Mangun, in February, pled guilty to fighting or disorderly behavior after Charles City police responded to an altercation and arrested him.
In December of 2013, Mangun had charges dismissed of felony D willful injury, felony D conspiracy to commit a felony and aggravated misdemeanor tampering with a witness.
