MASON CITY – Police were called to a Mason City apartment early Thursday to investigate a domestic situation and placed a man under arrest.
At about 2:17 AM Thursday, August 14, officers responded to a physical domestic at 515 South Connecticut Avenue. After an investigation, police arrested Benjamin Joseph Delmolino, who lives at that address. He was charged with aggravated domestic assault involving strangulation, which is a felony in Iowa.
Delmolino is being held on no bond in jail until he sees a judge.
