MASON CITY – A wanted Mason City man turned himself in to police Sunday night.
Michael Duane Lee, age 47, was wanted on an arrest warrant after a probation violation was reported to courts on July 10 by the Iowa Department of Corrections. Lee pled guilty last year to second offense drug possession and was ordered to pay $1,259.63 in fines and court fees, but has managed to pay just $150 toward that balance.
Lee is being held in the Cerro Gordo County Jail on $2,000 cash bond as he awaits an August 13 court date.
