DAVENPORT – Law enforcement reported a frightening attempt to steal a child last month in an eastern Iowa community.
On July 11th, 2014 at approximately 9:34 PM, the Scott County Sheriff’s Office responded to an attempted juvenile abduction in the area of 275th Street and 115th Ave, north of Donahue, IA.
A juvenile male on a bicycle was approached by a white male in a silver Ford van. The suspect grabbed the juvenile by the arm in an attempt to pull him into the van. After a short struggle, the juvenile got away while the suspect fled the area in the van.
The suspect was described as a white male in his 40’s, wearing sunglasses, black ball cap, blue shirt and blue jeans.
The suspect vehicle was described as a silver Ford “commercial” van with no rear windows. If you have any information about this incident please contact the Scott County Sheriff’s Office.
The case remains under investigation.

This could happen anywhere and thank God the police know about it. I’m so thankful the little boy made it away safely. Christ only knows what the demon in the van had planned!
