HAMPTON – A man has been charged by Hampton police with three counts of felony sexual abuse against a child 13 years of age or younger.
Police in Hampton first charged nineteen-year-old Michael Vicente of Florida in Frnaklin County District Court in August of 2013. He is scheduled for a jury trial on August 26, 2014, on three felony C charges of sexual abuse of a child between the ages of 12 and 13.
Vicente was finally arrested on July 6 by Hampton police but posted surety bond the next day. He has entered a not guilty plea. A pre-trial hearing is scheduled for August 7.
