MASON CITY – Police responded to a North End alley for a report of “a very intoxicated subject” early Saturday and placed a man under arrest.
A caller reported to police Saturday morning at about 4:00 AM that “a very intoxicated subject [was] passed out on the ground behind” the Kozy Korner bar at 1402 North Federal Avenue. Police arrived on the scene and placed William Scott Foster, age 48, under arrest and took him to jail.
Foster was later released pending an undisclosed court date.
