CLEAR LAKE – A young man from Garner now finds himself in some serious trouble after an incident Saturday night on Clear Lake.
At least four law enforcement agencies responded to a situation on Clear Lake Saturday evening at about 8:41 PM involving 19-year-old Joshua Lawrence Engstler of Garner. According to a report, Engstler was intoxicated, combative and had allegedly stolen a boat at or near 6490 South Shore Drive. Clear Lake police, Iowa DNR officers, the Iowa State Patrol and Cerro Gordo deputies manages to get Engstler under control.
Engstler was arrested and taken to the Cerro Gordo County Jail. He currently stands charged with interference with official acts, minor consumption, no proof of fishing license, reckless operation of a boat (all simple misdemeanors), two counts of prohibited operations (serious misdemeanors), and theft in the second degree (felony D).
In June, a North Iowa woman sought protection Hancock county district courts from Engstler after a domestic assault incident, and was granted a protective order.

no proof of fishing license? When are we going to get a handle on this crime wave?
When the government doesn’t get a piece of the action, why it’s a crime.
A crying shame…
And so do they.
Garner skinheads…I’d rather have immigrants for neighbors.
Word! ha ha….and I do have immigrants for neighbors! 🙂
