Rockford man’s theft trial set for July 15

BENTON COUNTY, IOWA – A Rockford man’s theft trial has been set for July 15th.

Benton county sheriffs arrested Emanuel Curtis Receveur III – AKA “Skunk” – on April 22 on a warrant on a charge of fifth degree theft brought by Waverly police on April 8.  Receveur was later transported to the Bremer County Jail and released.  He now awaits a July 15 non-jury trial after pleading not guilty.

Receveur is a convicted felon on charges of terrorism and robbery out of Black Hawk county.
