Wanted Charles City woman nabbed by cops

CHARLES CITY – A Charles City woman with a theft problem was picked up on a warrant by police this weekend.

Amber Jennings, age 22, was recently found guilty of fifth degree theft twice, after two different incidents. She failed to appear in court on April 4th, and had been wanted on a warrant ever since.

Charles City police caught up with Jennings on May 7, and she was taken to jail. She promptly pled guilty to fifth degree theft and was assessed $478.50 in fines and court fees, to go along with $320.00 she owes from the previous theft charge she pled guilty to in March. She has yet to make a payment on either balance.
