WEST UNION – Law enforcement agencies recently teamed together to take an alleged meth dealer to jail.
According to the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office, after a four month long joint investigation between Fayette County Sheriff’s Office, West Union Police Department, State of Iowa Division of Narcotic Enforcement and the NE Iowa drug task force, charges were filed on Jeffery Blue, age 43 of West Union.
Blue is charged with Delivery of a controlled substance, Methamphetamine a class B Felony and conspiracy to deliver a controlled substance, Methamphetamine a class C felony.
On April 22, 2014, West Union Police and Fayette County Sheriff’s Office took Blue into custody and transported him to the Fayette County Jail where he is being held on a $50,000.00 cash only bond. During the four month investigation several search warrants of residences in West Union where conducted and hours of undercover work were put in.
