MASON CITY – A Mason City man was arrested for drunk driving early Friday morning.
Paul Curtis Hillestad, age 65, was stopped by police after midnight Friday morning. Police determined Hillestad was under the influence of an intoxicating substance and placed him under arrest for operating while under the influence, first offense.
Hillestad is being held in the Cerro Gordo County Jail on $1,000 cash or surety bond.
