CHARLES CITY – Police in Charles City arrested a local woman Monday on theft charges.
Charles City police allege that Marquita Johnson, age 27 of Charles City, committed aggravated misdemeanor theft in the third degree on March 26, 2014 in Charles City. An arrest warrant was issued on April 4, and police picked her up on April 7 at the 600 block of 11th Street.
Johnson was released from jail on her own recognizance as she awaits a hearing on April 28.
