MASON CITY – A Mason City woman missing since February 19th has been located and is safe.
Police said Wednesday that after an extensive investigation, 29-year-old Samantha Matous was found to be safe staying at a residence with an acquaintance out of state.
NIT earlier reported that on Wednesday, February 19th, the family of Samantha L. Matous reported that she was dropped off at the Minneapolis airport on Sunday, February 16th to take a flight to see a relative out of state. The family member reported to police that she never arrived at the relative’s location and did not answer her cell phone.
