MASON CITY – A Mason City man was arrested at his home at the 300 block of East State Street this weekend and charged with a felony after an alleged domestic assault.
According to police, 54-year-old Jess Joseph Marcotte was arrested on February 15th, 2014 for Aggravated Domestic Assault on his roommate. “She reported the assault around 5:18 PM,” a Mason City police officer told NIT. “The victim was examined at the scene by fire medics. She was not transported to hospital.”
Marcotte was soon released from jail pending an unknown court date.
