DECORAH – The Raptor Resource Project (RRP) released several videos Thursday showing the latest activities from a family of eagles in a nest that the non-profit organization helps maintain.
“Crib Rails, Nestorations, Fish, and a Yawning Hawk. Mom and Dad worked on the nest, Mom enjoyed a fish, and a hawk at Eaglecrest was caught yawning,” RRP reported. “No one seems to know why hawks and other birds yawn, but it does appear to be contagious.”
Established in 1988, the non-profit Raptor Resource Project specializes in the preservation of falcons, eagles, ospreys, hawks, and owls.
