IOWA CITY – The Iowa Hawkeye men’s and women’s basketball teams are set to launch their seasons after holding their annual Black & Gold Blowout at Carver-Hawkeye Arena this weekend.
Junior Gabriel Olaseni slammed a monster dunk in the men’s dunk contest. There were fireworks, inflatables, dancing, music and more for the fans.
The Iowa men’s team – with high expectations of an upper-division finish in the Big Ten and a trip to the NCAAA Tournament – begin their season with a slew of cupcakes on November 3rd when they face Augustana (Ill.)
