Toys for Tots rip-off artist jailed for traffic violations; facing felony charge of drug dealing

MASON CITY – A former Mason City North Ender who was convicted of stealing money from a Toys for Tots collection jar earlier this year was in jail Sunday morning for traffic violations.

Kayleigh Rae Hormann, 22, now calling Rudd home, was arrested early Sunday morning near Jonquil Avenue and 265th Street for driving under suspension, speeding and failure to prove security against liability.

Hormann was jailed and released a few hours later.

Records show that Hormann is now facing a felony charge at this time as well. Mason City police allege that on April 20th, 2013, Hormann possessed marijuana with an intent to deliver the controlled substance.

Hormann initially plead not guilty but has a plea change hearing set for September 23rd, 2013.

Back in the day…to be a soul from the “North End” was great. Decker s, Schills, B & O, Reeds’ Grocery Store, McKinley, Monroe, AND Thee Northwestern. REAL FAMILY. Please don’t refer naughty persons with such great memories.

I grew up on the Northend and the people are fantastic, but to refer to this person as a “former north ender” in the article is ridiculous and must have been written by a small minded individual.

Why mention she is a “former north ender”? Former Mason City resident would be fine, you never hear “former east ender” arrested for doing anther guy at the YMCA do you?

What the fudge is on her face?

Meth is a helluva drug.
