MASON CITY – Police today are saying they caught the woman who allegedly stole a Toys for Tots canister from Little Caesar’s Pizza on October 29th.
Today, at about 11 AM, Mason City police cited Kayleigh Rae Horman of 1419 North Federal Avenue (above the former Alley Katz bar) with 5th degree theft.
Horman says on her Facebook page that she is a “loving Gemini who hates rude people. I’m the best friend you could every have and a better enemy.”
Police said the donation canister and its contents were not recovered. A male associate with Horman at the time of the theft was not charged and his name is not being released. Police were not able to verify how much money was taken from the canister. Police also said that store employees thought the canister was mostly empty at the time of the theft.
Police said they were appreciative of the public’s help in solving the case. They said tips came in from throughout the region including Minnesota.
Horman is innocent until proven guilty.
Stoning? Better call your insurance company first to see if the coverage on your glass house is sufficient.

Also, at age 18 a traffic stop on the Avenue of Saints resulted in her being brought in for a failure to appear warrant while the others in the car were arrested for a warrant on manufacturing methamphetamine.The 5th degree theft was not this last incident, and oh yeah, it was dismissed! Hmm. I’m all for accidental situations with innocent people but this incident makes the previous one seem like it shouldn’t have been dismissed. She’s also trying to sell her Blackberry
Also based on her Facebook she has two children herself! Stealing from kids when you are a parent?!
I don’t even know the girl and in 5 minutes I came up with all of this. But the best NIT could do was continue on their witch hunt with the Northend! Yes, we’ve got trash on our side and so do you! Give it a rest and become part of the solution!

She is just another one of the losers that are now all over Mason City’s North End. Time to clean up the neighborhood.
if the police wouldn’t have waited so long to release the video she would have been caught sooner. Who knows how much more she has taken between then and now.

I don’t care how much money was stolen if you steal from a charity it should be mandatory jail sentence.
