Mason City man injured after falling off moving ATV

RURAL CERRO GORDO COUNTY – Cerro Gordo County sheriffs reported Sunday night that a Mason City man was injured after falling off a moving ATV driven by an alleged intoxicated river.

According to authorities, on August 17th at about 11:19 p.m., the Cerro Gordo County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of an ATV accident with injuries South of Rock Falls on 295th Street and Vine Avenue.

The driver of the ATV was 23 year old Tucker King of Boone, Iowa. Passengers on the ATV were 26 year old Justin Timpe of Mason City and 25 year old Daniel Remberg of Rockwell. King was driving west on 295th Street when Justin Timpe fell off the back of the ATV, causing bodily injury.

Timpe was transported to Mercy Medical Center North Iowa by Mason City Fire Medics. King was charged with Operating While Intoxicated 1st Offense and Operation With More Passengers Than Vehicle Was Designed To Carry.
