Mason City man and three Minnesotans busted by sheriffs; some allegedly intended to deliver meth

MASON CITY – Cerro Gordo County sheriff’s deputies arrested four individuals Thursday morning on a range of charges.

On Thursday, August 15th, 2013, at 10:13 PM Cerro Gordo County deputies stopped a vehicle in the 3000 block of 19th Street SW in Mason City for traffic violations resulting in the following charges.

All were suspects were taken to the Cerro Gordo County Jail and held for bond.

Arrested and charged were:

Zayas, Joseph Edward (dob 4-19-87)
Passenger – Joseph Edward Zayas DOB/041987 Rochester, MN (posted $300.00 bond)
o Open Container
o Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY

Mudge, Jada Marie (dob 9-6-84)
Passenger – Jada Marie Mudge DOB/090684 Rochester, MN ($1,000.00 bond)
o Open Container
o Possession Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine)
o Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY

Watson, Joshua Taylor (dob 8-22-89)
Driver – Joshua Taylor Watson DOB/082289 Rochester, MN ($10,000.00 bond)
o Failure to have a valid driver’s license
o Possess and Convey Contraband (Methamphetamine)
o Possession With Intent to Deliver Methamphetamine
INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY

Vanfossen, Todd Dean (dob 9-20-63)
Passenger – Todd Vanfossen DOB/092063 Mason City, IA (posted $300.00 bond and released to Floyd County Sheriff’s Office)
o Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
o Floyd County Warrant Theft 5th Degree
