MASON CITY – One person was injured Friday evening after a collision on Mason CIty’s west side.
According to a report, a female was transported to Mercy Hospital with what police called minor injuries after a two car collision near the 3300 block of 4th Street SW in front of Carlos O’Kelly’s. The incident took place at about 6:15 PM.
Officers completed an accident report in the matter and issued one driver a citation for failure to stop within the assured clear distance.
