ADAMS COUNTY, IOWA – An adult male was killed and a child was seriously injured in an ATV accident Wednesday.
According to a report from the Iowa State Patrol, a 1987 Honda four wheeler was fund overturned in a ditch located at the intersection of 250th Street and Poplar Avenue in Adams county.
Two subjects – a 41 year-old male and a 9 year-old child – were located under the overturned ATV by a volunteer firefighter.
The adult male, Carey Ishikawa of Lenox, Iowa, was pronounced dead at the scene. The injured child was taken to Mercy Hospital in Des Moines.
