CHICKASAW COUNTY – A teen is dead and two persons were injured after a motorcycle-car accident Saturday in Chickasaw County, Iowa.
According to a report, a Dodge Neon driven by 17 year-old Shay Peckham of Lime Springs was traveling southbound on Randolf Street and went through a controlled stop sign intersection near Highway D22 and was struck on the driver’s side by a westbound 1999 Harley-Davidson motorcycle driven by Joseph Bouska, 54, of Fort Atkinson, Iowa. The incident happened at about noon on Saturday, July 13th, 2013.
Shay Peckham was listed as a fatality in the report. A passenger on the motorcycle, Lavonne Bouska, 56, was also injured. She was taken by Mercy Air Med to an undisclosed area hospital, while Joseph Bouska was transported by Covenant Air to an area hospital.
