Mason City man in jail for failing to appear in court

MASON CITY – A Mason City man failed to appear in court and is now in jail.

Randy Virgil Axiotis, 51, had a warrant issued for his arrest on June 5th for failing to show up for a probation revocation hearing related to a serious domestic assault case from 2011 in which he plead guilty and was sentenced to probation.

Axiotis is now in the Cerro Gordo County Jail on $2,000.00 bond awaiting a court date.

Axiotis still owes $3,113.82 in court costs and fees related to this case.

Not the first time this guy has been in jail. Just leave him there.
