MASON CITY – Police on Tuesday hunted down a man causing havoc with his lawnmower.
According to a report, police were called to the 200 block of South Monroe Avenue at about 7 AM about an “intoxicated male pushing a lawn mover through peoples yards making lines.”
An officer later located the subject in his residence who stated he was chasing a gopher. The officer advised the man to stay inside until he was sober.
If it was really 7:00 AM he got a early start.
Yes it was 7AM I heard it on the scanner while drinking my coffee.
