Bradley Cooper says there won’t be a fourth ‘Hangover’ movie

the_hangoverLAS VEGAS, May 27 (UPI) — U.S. actor Bradley Cooper says he loved starring in the three “Hangover” movies, but he insists there are no plans for a fourth installment in the franchise.

Co-starring Justin Bartha, Ed Helms and Zach Galifianakis, “The Hangover” was about a Las Vegas bachelor party gone horribly awry. The sequel finds the guys on the run from drug dealers while preparing for another wedding — this time in Bangkok. In the series capper, the friends attempt to help Galifianakis’ quirky, depressed character, Alan, get through a personal crisis.

Asked at a recent Las Vegas news conference if there is any chance the guys might reunite for “The Hangover Part IV” some time in the near future, Cooper told reporters, “No.”

“The ending of the movie is the ending of the whole thing and these characters. There is closure and it ties up everything that you didn’t know wasn’t tied up — little moments from the first two movies,” Cooper said.

“The Hangover Part III” earned $42.4 million this past weekend when it opened.
