MASON CITY – Around 8:40 am Sunday morning, the Mason City Fire Department responded to a report of a car in a field.
The vehicle, which had two occupants, was east bound on Highway 122 when the female driver had reportedly passed out causing the car to go off the road. The vehicle rested in a field just west of the Eastbrook neighborhood near NIACC.
When emergency crews were at the scene, the driver was conscious and talking to the Mason City Police.
Affordable Towing was called, but a Mason City Firefighter was able to back the car out. There did not appear to be any injuries.
