MASON CITY – One of three men arrested on August 1st, 2012 after an incident at the Mason City YMCA and charged with indecent exposure was given a deferred judgement and other penalties today in court.
David Escher, 56, was found guilty of one count of indecent exposure – a serious misdemeanor – by Judge Annette Boehlje.
Escher was sentenced to one year of probation and must register on the Iowa Sex Offender Registry for 10 years and pay $435.00 in court costs.
Another man allegedly involved in the incident, Douglas Howard Petersen,67, faces a pre-trial hearing on February 15th and a trial scheduled for February 26th.
The third man that was arrested, Dennis Clarence Vrba, 69 – who faces two counts of indecent exposure – also faces a trial on February 26th.

Trust me, the bacteria from skin bacteria like staph is much worse. It’s not a life or death situation drama queen, but public facilities are a breeding ground especially steam rooms. Most Y’s do not dry them out and disinfect them every day. Some clean them yearly.
