MASON CITY – Second Lady Jill Biden visited the Democratic party headquarters in Mason City on Friday.
Biden, the wife of Vice President Joe Biden, spoke to over 100 onlookers and signed books and gave autographs.
Biden has been an educator and spoke mainly on education topics and funding for college students. Since 2009, Biden has been a professor of English at Northern Virginia Community College.
Biden also spoke Friday in Charles City, Iowa.

Don’t bother going to Mayo anymore if your on medicare. They won’t take it because of the $500 bilion Obama is going to cut from medicare. He took the money for Obamacare.

A Family member of mine who receives Medicare just returned from Mayo. Medicare paid every dime, minus reasonable copays for which she was insured.
Like any other web site remember that anyone can and will write anything and it is often mistaken as gospel.
I am not a fan of Obamacare but my wife had some care at Mayo and there was no problem with medicare or our Bluecross supplemental insurance. I also had an exam in Edina, Mn. and agian there was no problem whatsoever. I checked with Welmark about the letter that was out saying we had to have care in Iowa or South Dakota and was told to disregard the letter. Misrepresentation does not help the cause. It only makes liers out of both party’s.
I’m sure that’s it and not the medicare fraud they admitted to.

I get so tired of these people coming in from other parts of the country and trying to tell us how to vote. It doesn’t matter if they are Republican or Democrats. We never hear from them for 4 years and then all the sudden they want to tell us what to do. Iowa has done pretty darn good in the last few years. Our unemployment is one of the lowest in the nations and our state is finally operationg in the black after Culver almost took us into bankruptsey. This is due to both party’s working together for the benefit of everyone in the state. Look at the mess the rest of the country is in-and they want to tell us what to do. B##S###

I still get tired of it and it really does irritate me that these people come in here telling us what to do and how to vote. They bring in all that outside money to support their adgenda and mostly they lie.
Is Iowa the only state that wants to throw judges off the bench because the people aren’t happy with their decisions? I suppose that’s a wide spread practice. Maybe we should require passes to travel through the state.
@notamember-I am not in favor of removing the judge at all. My opinion is judges should remain above the emotional opinion of the far right. They have no business dictating to the judicial system how they should decide a issue.
