MASON CITY – A Free Market will be held on Saturday, August 25, from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm in the parking lot at Grace Evangelical Church in Mason City.
According to Grace’s website: “What is a Free Market? Blessing those in our community with free items from our church family, meeting needs of people who have experienced loss from natural disasters, broken relationships, or economic hardships. The Free Market will include clothing for children and adults, furniture, appliances, kitchen items, toys, books, decorations, and more. Donated items may be dropped off at the church through August 25.”

I agree. What a great idea. Thanks to all for your time and I am sure hard work for putting this on. Many in this community need a helping hand at this time. Makes me feel good to think that there are people in MC that are willing to help others.
This is a blessing to our community! Kudos to Evangelical Free Church for doing such wonderful things for people in need. This would be a good time to clean out closets and cupboards and donate unneeded items and let someone have them who can use them. I too am thankful to see something positive going on in Mason City! 🙂
Its so nice to see something positive in this community! I have a couple large garbage bags of clothes we are bringing over tonight and plan on utilizing the free sale on Saturday for some children’s clothes. Hopefully this is something that can be done annually and maybe not by just one church but all the local churches in Mason City. One huge “free” garage sale day once a year! Thank you Evangelical Free for doing this!
