On Sunday, July 22, 2012 at approximately 01:34 AM, Waterloo Police responded to a shooting at Rumors Bar, 229 E.4th Street, Waterloo. Upon arrival officers found that a 39 year old male had been shot in the tailbone and shoulder blade. Officers also placed a suspect into custody. Both the victim and suspect were taken to a local hospital.
On Tuesday, July 24, 2012, the suspect was released from the hospital. Police then arrested the suspect, Roland Ricardo Anderson Sr. age 52, of 115 Courtland Street, Waterloo on charges of Willful Injury, Going Armed with Intent and Possession of a Firearm as a Felon. He is currently being held in the BHC Jail on $120,000.00 bond.
