MASON CITY – North Iowa Area Community College is opening the College doors ‘After Hours’ for anyone who is thinking of enrolling in college, but not sure where to go.

NIACC After Hours is open to high school juniors and seniors as well as adults interested in attending college.

“This is a wonderful opportunity for people to visit the College and explore the many academic areas, clubs and activities offered at NIACC,” said NIACC Admissions Director Rachel McGuire.

“Most people come to campus for a visit and they are absolutely surprised at all of the programs and activities we offer here at NIACC, even if they live in the area and think they know NIACC. I always encourage everyone to come and visit us,” she said.

At NIACC After Hours, visitors can meet NIACC faculty, staff and students. They can also attend sessions on career interests and financial aid. Tours of business, health and industrial will also be available.

This event is free.  No RSVP required. Check-in begins at 5:30 p.m. in the North Iowa Community Auditorium. Opening session begins at 6:00pm.
