MASON CITY – Monday evening, at approximately 4:45 pm, a car/motorcycle accident was called into the Mason City Fire Department.
The accident took place at the intersection of Washington Avenue and State Street.
The male driver of the motorcycle was taken by ambulance with a head injury and road rash, otherwise known as, scratches on his arms and legs. He was not wearing a helmet.
A witness said, “He was a big man, he looked like he was okay.”
Katz Towing hauled the motorcycle away.
No other information was available.
