MASON CITY – On Tuesday, October 11th, an aggravated misdemeanor charge of purchase/possession of medium depicting sexual exploitation of a minor was dismissed without prejudice by magistrate Rolf Aronson against Bradley Scott Berding age 57.
Court records show Clear Lake police used an affidavit with five exhibits to obtain a search warrant on property of Bradley Berding on January 24th, 2011. The warrant was returned with a one page inventory of property seized as part of the investigation.
Court records show a warrant for Bradley Berding’s arrest was issued by magistrate Patrick Byrne. On Wednesday, September 28th, Bradley Scott Berding age 57 was booked into Cerro Gordo County Jail on the charge. Bradley Berding had a hearing on initial appearance the next morning then was released on his own recognizance.
He still faces one more charge of possession of child pornography. Both charges were brought by Clear Lake police.
