Workers were busy installing green “turf” on the plaza Thursday evening.
The turf looks very much like real grass. Someone at the scene remarked “I should get this installed in my yard.” His buddy replied “ya it would look great until the neighbor’s dog ‘goes’ on it.”
Workers installing the turf had no idea what it costs per square foot or how well it would hold up under Iowa’s harsh weather.
