Temporary Relocation for Public Transit Bus Boarding on Friday Afternoon August 19

Mason City, IA, August 18, 2011 ñ On Friday afternoon, August 19, 2011 boarding for Mason City Public Transit buses will move across the street from Central Park. Passengers will board the West Central and South Central public transit buses in the small parking lot on the west side of City Hall. Passengers will board the Northeast, North Central and East Central public transit buses in the alley to the west of City Hall. The east side of the smaller parking lot and the one-hour parking on the southern most part of the alley will be closed to all parking except for Mason City Public Transit buses. This temporary relocation is to accommodate the stage set up on Federal Avenue for the last Friday Night Live of the season. The Transit Comfort Station in Central Park will remain open. This temporary relocation of the public transit buses is for the afternoon of August 19, only.
