Brandon Pearce bags up 15 ears of sweetcorn Saturday for sale at Monroe Storage, 1625 S. Monroe Ave., in Mason City. The stand is one of several in the area offering fresh sweetcorn. Prices where Pearce was selling were $5 for 15 ears, $3 for eight and $2 for five. The stand is open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays and from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekends. Customer traffic was steady Saturday morning at the Johanns Sweetcorn stand at Monroe Storage, 1627 St. Monroe Ave., in Mason City. Several stands are open in the area.
