Shortly after 5 p.m. on July 9th, deputies from the Cerro Gordo County Sheriff’s Department investigated a suspicious Vehicle in the 100 block of North Washington Avenue in Mason City. The driver, Kimberly Reuter, age 26, of Mason City, was arrested for driving while barred and possession of methamphetamine. A passenger in the vehicle, Kevin Bridges, age 22, also of Mason City, was also arrested for possession of methamphetamine.
Reuter is currently on probation from an OWI conviction on 06/29/2009 in Cerro Gordo County District Court. However the Department of corrections has applied for a probation revocation hearing set for 07/20/2011 at 9 a.m. in Cerro Gordo County District Court. Reuter was out on pre-trial release in case number AGCR020002 in which she is charged with operating a motor vehicle without owner’s consent and driving while barred in Cerro Gordo county.
Bridges is also currently on probation from an assault conviction in Woodbury County District Court. Bridges is also out on pre-trial release from two felony counts of burglary in the 2nd degree and is set for trial on those charges 08/23/2011 at 1:30 p.m. in Cerro Gordo County Disrict Court.
Both individuals remain in the Cerro Gordo County Jail awaiting arrangements on their newest criminal charges.
