The staff of the Cerro Gordo County Conservation Board will be conducting a prescribed burn in the native grass seed production plots at Lime Creek Nature Center beginning at 7 PM on April 18th. The public is invited to watch and learn about the use of prescribed fire as a natural resource management tool. Enjoy a .5 mile trail hike to the burn location on your own, or ride the tram from the Nature Center parking lot. Tram riders must arrive by 6:30. Participants may bring a lawn chair or blanket and must stay within the designated viewing area during the prescribed burn.
