A Cerro Gordo County deputy responded to a a call about an injured animal near Mallard Avenue and 300th Street outside Mason City on Friday evening at 7:29 PM. A caller reported a small deer that had been struck by a vehicle and had two broken legs. Deer was put down and the county engineers office was notified.|
