Hampton Police and the Franklin County Sheriff responded to a single car accident at the corner of Quail Ave. and Central Ave. near Hampton on Sunday afternoon.
A 2000 Buick Century driven by Betty Jane Johnson, 82, of Hampton rolled off the Central Ave (Highway 3) as it headed East and entered a ditch near Quail Avenue, coming to rest on its top.
Johnson was injured in the accident and transported via ambulance to Franklin County General Hospital.|
