Vehicles collide on I-35; no injuries

Two vehicles were involved in a collision on I-35 near the 185.9 mile marker on December 13th at 10:05 AM.

A vehicle driven by 49 year old Denice Emmick of Jefferson, Iowa was in the northbound lane and took evasive action to avoid a 2008 GMC Canyon pick up truck that was stuck in the east ditch. The pick up was in the ditch and facing south when Emmick lost control of her vehicle due to ice/snow cover and entered the ditch backwards, striking the pickup truck.

No injuries were listed in the report. About $6500 worth of damage to the two vehicles was listed in the report.|
