The Cerro Gordo sheriff’s office said that at about 11:01 AM, a fire call was made for a fire on the boat, which was headed to dock. Everyone on board was evacuated and there were no injuries.
The cause of the fire was a generator, and it was extinguished by the boat’s crew.
And no life boats, a tragedy waiting to happen…
