MASON CITY — A Rock Falls man suffered minor injuries Tuesday night after his minivan collided with a horse standing in a rural Cerro Gordo County roadway.

Authorities said a 2007 Honda Odyssey driven by Lincoln Jost, 32, of Rock Falls, was traveling north in the 19,000 block of Vine Avenue when the vehicle struck a horse that was standing in the roadway.
Jost was treated at the scene for minor injuries by Mason City Fire Department paramedics and was not transported to a hospital.
