CHARLES CITY — Jack Slinger, 86, of Charles City, died Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center in Mason City.
Slinger was born May 30, 1940, and spent his later years as a member of the Charles City community.
According to information released with his obituary, Slinger’s family will honor his life privately.
A private graveside service will be held at Sunnyside Memory Gardens in rural Charles City.
No public visitation or additional public services were announced.
